Within this... apart from 28 years successful practitioner experience as both safety assessors and competent consultants / advisors and 9 years as a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor: Some Consultants = Members of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)  / Some Consultants = Members of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) / All Staff = Managing Safety + Safety for Senior Executives or Construction Safety trained / Assessors = CIEH or Nebosh Trained / Fire Risk Assessors = Nebosh Fire Safety & Risk Management Trained.

NOTE: We have been advised in writing by the HSE that we do NOT need to be on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register [OHSCR] on the basis we are H&S System Management, Monitoring & Audit related Consultants.

We should also add - the true test of a successful safety consultant is not just their ability to satisfy academic qualifications or to have chartered status to be listed on a 'register' / At S.e.H. we also require a proven track record of practical experience, experience in managing others and effective communication of meaningful and realistic solutions that satisfy all relevant legal requirements. This being on the basis, the real issue that matters is how well the Client understands and interprets the advice and puts it into practice and whether their actions are then monitored for adequacy and effectiveness.
